Facilities CoordinatorWe have a varied office-based facilities and workplace services role focused on health and safety, compliance, building operations, sustainability, and team leadership within a professional office environment.If you've also worked in the following roles, we'd also like to hear from you:Facilities Manager, Workplace Services Coordinator, Facilities Supervisor, Office & Facilities ManagerSALARY: £31,000 - £36,256 per annum + Excellent Benefits (see below)LOCATION: Leamington Spa, WarwickshireJOB TYPE: Full-Time, PermanentWORKING HOURS: 35 Hours per Week - Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pmJOB OVERVIEWWe have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Facilities Coordinator to join a professional workplace services environment supporting safe, compliant, and efficient office operations.As a Facilities Coordinator you will lead on-site workplace services, overseeing facilities management, health and safety compliance, security, sustainability, and business continuity activities. You will also manage day-to-day building operations and support a positive experience for all building users.The Facilities Coordinator will work closely with internal teams and external contractors, ensuring services are delivered to a high standard, budgets are effectively managed, and statutory obligations are consistently met.DUTIESYour duties as the Facilities Coordinator include:Team Leadership & Development: Managing, supporting, and developing the workplace services team through clear objectives, regular one-to-ones, and development planningFacilities Management: Coordinating hard and soft facilities services to ensure safe, compliant, and fit-for-purpose buildingsHealth & Safety Compliance: Acting as the on-site lead for health and safety, coordinating inspections, audits, and statutory testingBuilding Systems Oversight: Monitoring building management systems including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning to support efficient operation and energy useSecurity & Access Control: Maintaining site security standards including access control, CCTV, alarms, and visitor management processesIssue Resolution: Managing reactive faults and incidents, communicating effectively with building users and escalating where requiredSustainability & Energy: Leading on sustainability initiatives including energy, water, and waste reduction activitiesBudget & Cost Control: Monitoring facilities expenditure, managing purchase orders, and supporting forecasting and annual budget settingSpace & Fleet Management: Overseeing effective space utilisation and the management of site pool vehicles in line with policyProjects & Continuity Planning: Supporting small works projects and maintaining workplace services business continuity plansCANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSEssentialPrevious experience managing on-site facilities or workplace services within an office or multi-building environmentProven experience of health and safety compliance, statutory inspections, and risk assessmentsExperience coordinating hard and soft facilities management servicesStrong people management and stakeholder engagement skillsKnowledge of building systems, security controls, and workplace best practiceEligibility to work in the UKDesirable Membership of a professional facilities or workplace management bodyExperience supporting sustainability or carbon reduction initiativesExposure to business continuity planning or incident responseExperience overseeing a small vehicle fleetBENEFITSGenerous annual leave: 26 days rising to 28 days after three years, plus bank holidaysEmployee Assistance Programme providing confidential wellbeing supportWellbeing Buddies offering confidential peer supportMenopause Champions providing dedicated guidance and resourcesCycle-to-work scheme with a wide range of bike optionsEye care vouchers for free tests and VDU glasses contributionsHearing tests for colleagues working in kennel environmentsDiscounts and cashback across retail, supermarkets, travel and morePension scheme with employer matching plus 2%, up to 9% employer contributionLife assurance at four times salary, with options to increase coverFlexible benefits allowance (3% of salary) for gym memberships, health plans, dental insurance, travel insurance, critical illness cover, additional life assurance and the option to buy or sell annual leaveAs this role requires an Enhanced Disclosure check the start date for the successful candidate will only be confirmed upon receipt of the check.The Charity is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children, young people and vulnerable adults with whom they work.
