Contract: Permanent – 50 hours per week inclusive of breaks (with weekend rota cover)
Immediate Transportation Co. Ltd is a long-established logistics and freight-forwarding provider, holding FORS Gold accreditation. We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative with forklift skills to support the day-to-day running of our busy warehouse in Camberley.
The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring goods are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently. You will support the wider logistics operation through timely goods-in, stock management, and dispatch processes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Receiving, checking, and storing goods accurately.
* Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch.
* Loading and unloading vehicles using forklifts and other handling equipment.
* Labelling, bar-coding, and maintaining accurate stock records.
* Following health & safety procedures, including safe manual handling.
* Supporting integration with customs and transport operations.
* Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and compliant at all times.
About You
Essential requirements:
* Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
* Valid forklift truck licence (counterbalance or reach).
* Confident in safe operation of forklifts and other handling equipment.
* Understanding of warehouse safety practices and manual handling.
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Team player with a practical, hands-on approach.
* Flexible, reliable, and customer-focused.
Desirable:
* Experience with bonded warehousing or customs-related stock handling.
* Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
