Job Description:
Your new company, Hays, is working in partnership with a leading Mechanical and Electrical services provider with over 60 years of experience. This well-established company is seeking a Change Control Manager/QS for a major multi-million pound project in Belfast. Renowned for delivering high-quality, innovative solutions, they operate across sectors including commercial, education, healthcare, heritage, hospitality, life sciences, and residential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the change control process for the project, including documentation, approval, and implementation of changes.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with change management procedures.
3. Review and assess change requests to identify potential impacts on project scope, schedule, and budget.
4. Coordinate with stakeholders to communicate changes and ensure smooth implementation.
5. Maintain accurate records of all change requests and their status.
6. Provide training and guidance to team members on change control processes.
7. Develop and implement strategies to minimise resistance and maximise adoption of changes.
8. Conduct impact analyses and risk assessments related to change requests.
9. Support the project team in resolving any issues arising from changes.
Requirements:
* Proven expertise as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor, particularly in main contracting or MEP.
* Sound knowledge of NEC contracts.
* Excellent project management and organisational skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
* Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
