Job Description

GBR Recruitment is partnering with a leading construction, steel fabrication, and civils company to recruit an experienced Construction Project Administrator. This role supports the Project Management team with project administration and coordination duties, playing a key part in supporting construction site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, in budget, and to specification.

The company works directly with end clients, sub-contracts to other contractors, and collaborates with main contractors. Projects vary in scope, complexity, and value, ranging from several hundred thousand pounds to multiple millions of pounds, with different timeframes.


Responsibilities:

* Onboard project information into the company's internal system by gathering data from client emails.
* Create site build packs and H&S documents on the project management portal (Fonn) for site teams.
* Log site information onto internal trackers and portals.
* Monitor site information requirements using the CRM system and follow up with teams or clients.
* Compile RAMS templates for Build Manager updates and approval.
* Raise purchase orders using internal systems following the accounts process.
* Book hotels, parking, and other site requirements; communicate and log details.
* Collect site evidence photos from WhatsApp, portals, and site teams for handover and commercial files.
* Manage multiple busy email inboxes.
* Attend resource review meetings with the Build team to gather information.


Experience and Skills:

* Strong administration and coordination skills.
* Experience as a Project Administrator or Coordinator is ideal.
* Construction or Built Environment experience is preferred.
* Ability to prioritize workloads in a fast-paced environment.

Interviews are scheduled to take place immediately, with the potential for an immediate start. The role is based in Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, parts of South Yorkshire, and Lincolnshire. Suitable candidates may have experience as a Project Administrator, Coordinator, Supervisor, Support, Office Coordinator, Manager, Site Coordinator, or similar roles within construction, civils, groundwork, engineering, or manufacturing.
