Candidates must be hardworking and committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care. They should have excellent communication and organizational skills and demonstrate a keen interest in emergency care. Reliability and understanding of confidentiality are essential.
Flexibility and teamwork are crucial for this role, along with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
You should be educated to GCSE Maths & English or equivalent and be willing to undertake NVQ level 3 in Clinical Care or develop equivalent competence demonstrated through experience and competency-based training.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will work as part of the multidisciplinary team, delivering both clinical and non-clinical tasks, including personal compassionate care to patients, within established policies and procedures.
They will undertake assessment and recording of basic patient clinical observations and test results as part of patient assessment.
The post holder will work under the supervision of an NMC Registrant, who holds delegated accountability for the designated work.

Qualifications
* GCSE Maths & English or equivalent

Experience
* Previous care experience within an acute hospital setting
Knowledge and Awareness
* Understanding of confidentiality and information governance
* Knowledge of health and safety
* Knowledge of clinical patient observations
* Willingness to develop competencies in clinical interventions and use of test equipment (e.g., blood glucose monitors, venepuncture, cannulation)
* Understanding of current healthcare issues
