We are working with a highly reputable Global Asset Manager who is looking to hire a Small/Midcap European Equity Analyst to join the team. The role is best suited to candidates with work history in investment research and analysis.
The Small/Midcap UK/European Equity Analyst will take responsibility for the following duties:
1. Work closely with the team to present new investment ideas and monitor positions.
2. Monitor existing holdings and provide insight into new securities.
3. Collate research and bottom-up analysis through engaging with management teams and gathering independent research sources.
4. Build strong relationships with other teams within the business to develop awareness of recent events and results in the sector.
5. Actively contribute on broader ad-hoc research projects across the team, as they arise.
The Small/Midcap UK/European Equity Analyst will meet the following skillset:
1. Between 5 – 10 years’ experience in investing, preferably buy side experience.
2. Passion for investing and equity markets.
3. Currently working towards or have gained a CFA qualification.
4. Experience using Bloomberg.
5. Self-motivated individual with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
6. Intellectually curious with excellent interpersonal skills.
