Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Static Security Guard to provide a visible security presence and ensure the safety of our premises, staff, visitors, and assets. The ideal candidate will be vigilant, approachable, and able to respond to incidents calmly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and control access to the site, including signing in/out vehicles, visitors, and contractors.
* Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of the premises.
* Ensure all security procedures are followed and site rules are upheld.
* Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or suspicious activity.
* Write clear and accurate incident reports and maintain daily logbooks.
* Check identification, issue visitor passes, and maintain records of site access.
* Monitor CCTV systems where applicable.
* Provide excellent customer service to staff and visitors while maintaining security standards.
* Liaise with emergency services when required.
* Enforce health, safety, and fire regulations where necessary.
Qualifications & Skills
* Previous experience in a security role preferred, but not essential (training may be provided).
* Valid [SIA Licence / Security Licence – if applicable in your country].
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
* Basic IT/CCTV monitoring skills beneficial.
* Physically fit to carry out patrols and respond to incidents.
