My client is a Debt Fund that specialises in providing development finance. They are recruiting for an experienced Loan Administration Manager to join their growing team.
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Loan Administration Manager to oversee the management of a diverse portfolio of development finance loans. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that loan documentation is up-to-date, managing covenants, and reporting on the performance of loans within the portfolio. This is a critical role requiring a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to assess and manage risk effectively.
Responsibilities:
* Loan Documentation: Manage and review the loan documentation process to ensure all necessary paperwork is accurately completed and compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements.
* Covenant Management: Monitor and enforce compliance with loan covenants, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely corrective actions when necessary.
* Loan Performance Reporting: Monitor and report on the performance of loans, providing detailed reports to senior management on key metrics, risks, and the overall health of the loan portfolio.
* Risk Management: Identify potential risks within the portfolio and work proactively to mitigate them, offering solutions to prevent loan defaults or project delays.
* Stakeholder Communication: Maintain strong communication with borrowers, developers, and internal teams, providing updates and addressing any concerns promptly.
* Portfolio Optimization: Contribute to the ongoing optimization of the loan portfolio by suggesting improvements, refining processes, and ensuring the best possible financial outcomes.
* Investor Administration: Reporting and admin requirements relating to our investors and funding line partners.
What you will Bring:
* Proven experience in loan portfolio management in development or real estate finance, or a similar role within the financial services industry.
* Strong knowledge of loan documentation, covenants, and loan agreement terms.
* Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial statements and loan performance data.
* Proficiency in financial modeling, MS Excel, and portfolio management software.
* A degree in finance, real estate, economics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) is preferred.
Salary: up to £60k (depending on experience)
