Job Description
Daniel Owen is representing a well-known company in the Sittingbourne, Kent area, seeking a skilled Revenues and Benefits Customer Service Advisor.
Responsibilities
1. Answer phone calls related to Revenues & Benefits promptly, ensuring high customer service standards.
2. Interpret customer queries to generate solutions while customers are on the call.
3. Promote and support online services, including e-billing and notifications, and assist vulnerable residents as needed.
4. Maintain confidentiality of all evidence and information on systems.
5. Keep customer data up-to-date, including spelling, names, email addresses, and phone numbers.
6. Identify other support and benefits customers may be entitled to and provide signposting.
7. Recognize signs of fraudulent claims, record key information, and follow referral procedures.
8. Respond to enquiries following operating standards and complaints procedures.
9. Set up tax arrangements, payment plans, and reprofile tax accounts.
10. Modify payment methods, instalment due dates, and process payments, including setting up direct debits.
11. Send copies of bills upon request.
