Our client, a public sector organisation, is seeking a Policy and Wellbeing Partner to join its HR team. This role will play a key part in shaping people policies and wellbeing initiatives that directly support organisational performance, employee engagement, and workforce resilience.
The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor, working across the organisation to design and implement HR and wellbeing solutions that reflect best practice, align with legislation, and contribute to building a workforce fit for the future.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement high-quality, business-focused HR policies and procedures.
* Design and deliver wellbeing initiatives in line with the organisation’s Wellbeing Strategy.
* Interpret legislation and translate into workforce policies that meet organisational needs.
* Provide expert HR advice, influence decision-making, and support senior leaders on people-related matters.
* Partner with managers and HR colleagues to embed people solutions across the workforce.
* Monitor and evaluate policy effectiveness, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
* Contribute to organisational priorities by aligning wellbeing and policy initiatives with strategic objectives.
Requirements
* MCIPD qualified or equivalent professional experience.
* Proven track record of delivering generalist HR services in a complex organisation.
* Strong knowledge of employment law, diversity, equality, wellbeing, and organisational performance.
* Experience in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and wellbeing initiatives.
* Ability to translate legislation into practical policies and services.
* Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
