VIQU has partnered with a high growth Managed Services Provider offering a standout opportunity for a Sage Business Development Manager to take ownership of a 500+ Sage customer base, driving upgrades, modernisation and expansion while also winning new SMB and mid-market business across your territory. This Sage Business Development Manager role sits within a high performing sales team that has hit target for 6 consecutive quarters, in a fast paced, target driven environment with an excellent opportunity to earn significant commission for those who can consistently build pipeline, convert opportunities, and deliver strong revenue growth. This Sage Business Development Manager position suits someone who enjoys owning their patch, working with pace and intent, and turning a strong customer base into repeat and new business through a consultative, value led approach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive new business revenue across Sage solutions within SMB and mid market customers
• Own and develop an established Sage customer base, building a strong pipeline of upgrade, expansion and new business opportunities across your territory
• Deliver accurate forecasting and maintain a well-structured, up to date pipeline
• Lead consultative, value based sales engagements with senior stakeholders
• Position and differentiate solutions within competitive markets
• Generate leads through outbound activity including cold calling where required
• Negotiate commercial terms in line with business guidelines
• Conduct sector research to identify target customers and opportunities
• Ensure smooth handover to account management post sale
• Maintain up to date knowledge of Sage and associated solutions
Key Requirements:
• Proven track record selling Sage solutions in a Managed Services or technology environment
• Demonstrable new business sales success against individual revenue targets
• Strong consultative sales approach with experience engaging senior decision makers
• Background selling into SMB and mid market customers
• High energy, driven and target motivated with clear sales acumen
• Experience operating in structured, KPI driven sales environments
• Strong pipeline generation and closing capability
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
