NHS Borders is pleased to invite applications for a position within our Borders Addictions Service (BAS). As a community team, travel to various locations within the Scottish Borders for clinics and drop-ins is required, with the central base in Galashiels. The working pattern is Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in this dynamic area of nursing.

BAS is looking to recruit one registered nurse to join our team.
Role:
The nurse will be part of a multidisciplinary team working both in clinical settings and informal drop-in sessions. The role involves providing holistic care and support to individuals with addiction issues across the Scottish Borders.
You will have the opportunity to work within this innovative, nationally recognized team, which is the first NHS board in Scotland to meet the initial five Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) standards.
