Role Description
The UK Account Manager – North is a full-time role with the candidate based in Harrogate (or surrounding areas) with flexibility for remote work as part of a hybrid model. This role involves managing and expanding key accounts within the assigned territory, building strong partnerships with healthcare professionals across NHS and Private Sector settings, and driving growth by identifying opportunities for innovative medical devices. Responsibilities include providing product demonstrations, delivering training sessions for end-users, attending industry events, and achieving sales targets through proactive and consultative selling approaches.
Qualifications
* Sales and Account Management skills with a proven ability to meet targets and foster relationships with key stakeholders.
* Proficiency in Product Demonstration, Training Delivery, and Client Engagement to ensure client satisfaction and effective use of medical devices.
* Strong Communication, Negotiation, and Presentation skills to effectively convey information to diverse audiences.
* Knowledge of the medical devices industry, particularly in Gynaecology, Urology, or ENT, is highly advantageous.
* Self-motivation, adaptability, and the ability to work independently within a hybrid work environment.
* A valid UK driving license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and develop a defined Northern UK sales territory
* Drive capital equipment sales within ENT and Gynaecology departments
* Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, theatre staff, procurement, and management
* Provide in-theatre product support, demonstrations, and training
* Identify and progress new sales opportunities through the full sales cycle
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth installations and ongoing customer satisfaction
* Accurately manage CRM activity, forecasting, and reporting
Mandatory Requirements
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in medical device capital equipment sales
* Minimum 5 years’ experience working in or supporting Operating Theatre environments
* Proven sales success within UK ENT or Gynaecology medical devices
* Full UK clean driving licence
* Willing and able to cover a large geographical territory
* Overnight stays within the territory when required
Desirable Experience
* Experience selling to NHS Trusts and private hospitals
* Knowledge of procurement and tendering processes
* Strong clinical aptitude and confidence working directly with surgeons
