My client is a leading designer and manufacturer of refuelling solutions and systems for a range of industries including Marine, Aviation and Defence. They are now looking to hire an experienced Welder to join their established team in Stroud. The ideal candidate will come from a Welding and Fabrication background, will be highly proficient with TIG Welding, will be able to interpret Engineering drawings and will be highly familiar with ASME IX standards.
* Producing finished Weld runs on pre-fabricated assemblies
* Carrying out specialist welding on Stainless Steel / Aluminium structures, pipework and components
* Welding fabricated box and tubular structures in-line with BS9606 - 1&2
* General MIG welding on MS structures
* General fabrication and fettling work
* Previous experience in a Welder / Fabricator position
* Able to read and interpret Engineering drawings
* Qualified to ASME IX
* Experienced in TIG Welding
* Able to Weld with and without JIG and fixture arrangements
* Based within a commutable distance of Stroud
Pipe Welder Salary & Benefits
* Hourly rate £16.00 - £18.00 per hour
* Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30, Friday 07:30 - 14:00
* 31 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
* 2 Company bonus schemes
