Job Description
In this role, you will be managing high-volume, complex employee relations cases (up to 30 cases concurrently), coaching managers, and handling absence management. Previous exposure to similar workforce environments is essential.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide policy and procedure guidance to managers to ensure compliance and minimise risk.
2. Support and advise managers on employee relations investigations, including grievance and disciplinary matters.
3. Manage high-volume ER cases efficiently, ensuring timely resolution and escalation where necessary.
4. Coach and guide managers on best practice people management and conflict resolution.
5. Assist with restructures and TUPE processes in collaboration with ER Centres of Excellence.
6. Liaise with unions as required, ensuring positive and constructive relationships.
7. Promote equal opportunity and cultural diversity across the organisation.
8. Contribute to building a positive, inclusive, and safety-first culture.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
9. Previous experience in a similar People & Culture or HR Advisor role.
10. Solid ER case management experience, including handling complex and high-volume cases.
11. Experience coaching managers on people management and conflict resolution.
12. Previous experience working in a large FM company or similar environment.
13. Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation, with basic TUPE and union experience.
14. CIPD qualified or willing to work towards qualification.
15. Proactive and hands-on approach with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
16. Hold a full UK driving licence for travel - expenses paid for.
