Overview
Facilities Supervisor role at EQUANS, Liverpool, United Kingdom. Full-time, 40 hours per week. Salary: £27,000 per annum plus benefits. Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 8am–5pm; some variations to 7am–7pm as required.
What will you deliver?
The FM Supervisor will have regional oversight of between 7 and 10 properties within the region. This role is aligned to the HMCTS Facilities Manager and is responsible for the delivery of the cleaning service across each property and for first line supervision of the cleaning teams to maintain a high standard of cleanliness in line with contractual specifications.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
* Act as first port of call for the client in matters relating to the soft service
* Supervisory duties for between approximately 30 and 60 direct reports depending on the area
* Attend cleaning audits with the client and ensure appropriate corrective action
* Monitor the quality of work and complete quality control sheets as necessary
* First line soft services complaint resolution
* Consumables control in line with budget requirements
* Ensure adequate stocks of cleaning materials and other consumables
* Training, development and performance review of direct reports
* Respond in a timely manner to issues with the delivery of routine and non-routine cleaning services
* Organise cover for cleaners when on leave/absent within the cleaning budget
* Complete and submit timesheets for the cleaning team; manage/approve holidays
* Ensure safe and economical use of materials and power cleaning equipment; follow instructions for use
* Store equipment in designated storage areas kept clean, tidy and safe
* Ensure tasks are carried out in accordance with safe working practices and guidelines
For this role you must undergo BPSS level vetting, including DBS clearance where required.

Who are we looking for?
* Experience in industry/public cleaning services (essential)
* Experience supervising a cleaning team across multiple locations (essential)
* Knowledge of COSHH (essential)
* Understanding of basic health & safety principles (essential)
* Driving licence (essential)
* Ability to plan time and tasks to ensure efficient service delivery
* Ability to instruct others on use of cleaning materials and equipment
* Motivate a team to achieve a consistent cleaning standard
* Organise cleaning staff to meet work schedules
* Good communication and customer care skills
* Team player with willingness to share knowledge
* Flexible with working hours and travel
* Self-motivated
