As an HR Apprentice, based at our Birmingham office, you’ll gain hands-on experience across a wide range of HR activities. You'll be supporting our teams and helping to shape the future of our workforce, while working towards a nationally recognised qualification. At Dalkia, we’re more than just an engineering company. Real-world HR experience from day one Mentorship and support from experienced professionals Involvement in meaningful people-focused projects A structured learning pathway toward a professional qualification. During the apprenticeship, the following qualification will be undertaken: HR Support Apprenticeship – CIPD Level 3 (in partnership with Birmingham Metropolitan College) Online lessons meaning you can fit your study around work commitments, minimising disruption in the workplace. Each lesson lasts around 45 minutes and is accompanied by animations and motion graphics to bring concepts to life. Exercises, interactive case studies and analytical tools help to enhance the learning experience further. You'll also have a dedicated 1-1 assessor and support from your employer throughout the programme. The opportunity to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced organisation What you'll be doing Engage with the wider HR team across all business units, ensuring consistency and collaboration where possible Engage with middle management on a regular basis to ensure they are benefitting from HR support Be visible and pro active on sites/office, attend regularly to obtain timely feedback and offer support to teams Actively promote continuous improvement and employee experience Actively engage with the completion of the annual performance review process Analyse and inform the outputs of the PDR process Support with career development mapping and opportunities Participate in ER meetings, enable managers and ensuring unnecessary risks are mitigated Using people data, support with all ED&I activities Be output driven and work flexibly around the needs of the business and area including frequent travel Diversity and Inclusion At Dalkia, we believe that a diverse and inclusive workforce is essential to driving innovation and achieving a sustainable energy future.
