We are currently recruiting an ambitious Chef to create exceptional food experiences for Chartwells on a part-time basis, contracted to 25 hours per week. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food that brightens our clients' and customers' days, within a market-leading food service company in the UK. Note: This role is contracted for 44 weeks per year.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Preparing high-quality, delicious food that delights clients and customers.
2. Overseeing and implementing menu changes.
3. Identifying opportunities to improve food services.
4. Acting on customer feedback to enhance food quality.
5. Supporting the creation of new menus and food concepts.
6. Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image.
7. Monitoring inventories to ensure well-stocked kitchens.
8. Maintaining hygiene standards through cleaning responsibilities.
9. Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health & Safety regulations.
Ideal Candidate:
1. Passionate about great-tasting food and customer service.
2. Holds a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
3. Experience supervising a team.
4. Experience in a similar Chef role.
5. Holds a Food Hygiene certificate.
6. Flexible approach to working.
