JOB TITLE: Control Systems Engineer
LOCATION: West Midlands
SALARY: £60–70k+ (depending on experience)
We're currently recruiting for an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join a well-established and growing automation business delivering cutting-edge industrial solutions across multiple sectors.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from design through to commissioning, with flexibility built into the role including hybrid / remote working.
What you'll be doing:
* Designing and developing control systems for industrial automation projects
* Programming PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley and other platforms)
* Interfacing with 3rd party devices using Fieldbus communication protocols
* Supporting testing, commissioning, and installation activities
* Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
* Collaborating with wider engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions
What we're looking for:
* Proven experience in a Control Systems Engineer role
* Strong PLC programming skills (Siemens and/or Allen Bradley preferred)
* Experience with Fieldbus communications and system integration
* Solid understanding of automation and control systems
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
* Willingness to travel for site-based work when required
