Job Summary
As a Vice President in our Mid-Cap team, you will manage relationships with public and private companies with revenues between $250 million and $2 billion. Your client base will be served through traditional corporate banking products and investment banking products. Our business partners include specialists from Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, M&A, Treasury Services, Corporate Derivatives and Private Banking. You will provide extensive industry knowledge, local expertise and dedicated service to more than 24,000 clients, including corporations, municipalities, financial institutions and not‑for‑profit organisations. Services offered include credit, equipment finance, real‑estate finance, treasury services and access to J.P. Morgan’s investment services.
Job Responsibilities
* Identify, pursue, execute and close sales opportunities for a broad range of financial products and services.
* Manage complex, multi‑product client relationships and support more senior coverage bankers.
* Coordinate sales and service efforts of multiple internal business partners.
* Proactively market to clients and prospects; represent GCB’s European Banking Group in local banking and business communities and develop a network of referral sources.
* Collaborate with the credit underwriting team on analysis, structuring, negotiation and documentation of credit requests.
* Initiate and maintain strategic dialogue with clients and prospects to generate ongoing corporate finance, treasury services and credit opportunities.
* Strictly comply with all regulatory and JPMorgan Chase rules, policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications and Skills
* Strong experience as a Client/Relationship Manager selling corporate finance or corporate banking products and services.
* Strong execution skills.
* Knowledge of the UK Mid Cap Market.
* Knowledge and experience in corporate banking or investment banking products.
* Prior banking experience working within the UK.
* Fluent English language skills.
* Excellent oral and written communications abilities.
* Strong leadership abilities in financial services sales and business development.
* Solid credit, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* Knowledge of credit, corporate finance, treasury, investment banking and other banking products; preferably with execution experience.
* Self‑motivated, dependable and intelligent.
* Candidate must be a top individual contributor with a strong performance track record.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
* MBA or equivalent.
