We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. If you have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing instruments and materials
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort throughout the procedure
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during treatments
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Manage infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental clinic's appointment system
You will be required to register on a training course to gain a qualification in dental nursing. This will be funded by the practice
