Senior Project Engineer – Decommissioning
Location: Aberdeen
Role Overview: A staff position for a Senior Project Engineer - Decommissioning with an operator client, requiring previous topsides decommissioning experience.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for delivery of assigned Decommissioning Projects, with joint responsibility for the overall success of all decommissioning activities, working with the wider team to ensure decommissioning campaigns and activities are executed safely, within budget and on schedule.
* Work with technical leads, contractors, verifiers, all company functions and the decommissioning department to promote and ensure a cohesive and collaborative team environment for successful projects.
* Collaborate with the Decommissioning Manager and Decommissioning Team Lead to support development of people within the decommissioning department, understanding roles, capabilities and development aspirations.
* Ensure compliance with the Decommissioning Programme and any other regulatory interfaces on the project.
* Develop and maintain a positive company culture, promote the company Mission Statement and Core Values, maintain an inclusive environment and drive continuous improvement.
* Take accountability for successful decommissioning project delivery for assigned project(s) and joint accountability for the success of all International Division Decommissioning projects and activities.

* Technical/Engineering degree or several years of experience in a technical field.
* Commitment to continuous professional development.
* Experience managing budgets, teams and collaborating with external parties.
* Knowledge of offshore working environment and/or site‑based work.
* Project Management qualification or working towards accreditation with a recognised body (e.g. APM or PMI).
