Ackerman Pierce is currently supporting a leading local authority within Sutton to recruit for a Social Worker - Adults Locality Team on a permanent basis paying £40,755-£48,531 P/Annum. Our client has a well-structured and organised team that are looking to grow their staffing levels. The role offers flexible working hours and has a supportive team culture with regular supervision on cases. Sutton is embedding a systemic approach and is currently undergoing several changes focussed on reducing caseloads and improving outcomes for families. Responsibilities include: Undertaking DSTS and CHC Court related work Undertaking Care Act 2014 Assessments - identify individuals' care and support needs, ensuring a personalised approach that emphasises the best outcomes Completing Care Act 2014 Reviews - evaluating the strength and suitability of an individual's care and support plan, ensuring that it continues to meet their needs and preferences Liaising with other professionals Knowledge of relevant legislation Holding complex cases Providing advice to the public, partner agencies and regulated care providers in relation to safeguarding concerns Completing home visits and safeguarding assessments and reports Working with people at risk, and people who have caused harm Attending multidisciplinary meetings Completing referrals to relevant agencies for support Experience preferred: Post qualifying experience of working within an Adults Locality Team or Safeguarding Team. Minimum Requirements: SWE Registration 2 years post ASYE working experience as a Uk registered social worker Have experience of working in a multidisciplinary team setting. Experience in undertaking complex Mental health and Physical health cases.
