Role overview As an Assistant Management Accountant for our Central Finance Team, you’ll find yourself working with a team of talented people who are committed to driving financial improvement, scalability, and customer experience. As part of the urbanbubble finance team, the role will be varied and challenging, supporting a large (and growing) property management business. You will be required to support the Central Finance Team ensuring that all finance tasks are undertaken according to internal and industry standard timescales and expectations. Family always comes first at ub What will you do? * Support the urbanbubble month end process with preparation of monthly management accounts * Work to optimise the speed of transactional close and quality of reconciliations * Support the smooth running and reconciliation of all Financial Ledgers for the business * Assisting the implementation/maintenance of financial controls and processes * Take ownership of key balance sheet account reconciliations * Assist the finance team with month-end KPI production * Responsibility for accurate and timely VAT submissions * Completion of government statistics * Assisting with internal audits and compliance checks across the business * Process improvement and system development * Support the Management Accountant with the production of weekly cash forecast used to manage working capital cashflow * Support monthy Payroll process to ensure accurate and on time delivery What are we looking for? * Excellent attention to detail and strong organisation skills * Strong skills in the use of Microsoft Excel and the ability to resolve queries and use initiative * Analytical with good attention to detail and numeracy skills * Strong IT skills * Excellent written and verbal communication * Positive attitude to Change and embraces new ideas and ways of working * Ability to work within a broad finance team and consider cross team impacts of new processes. Qualifications required: - Part Qualified CIMA, ACCA, AAT or qualified by experience.
