The Prison Services Manager, reporting directly to the General Manager, is responsible for leading and motivating diverse functional teams responsible for in-prison planning, budget, financial management, human resources, training, stores, accounts, purchasing and prisoner services including records and property. This role may require travel across prison locations.
Some of your duties will include:
* Lead and motivate diverse functional teams responsible for in-prison planning, budget, financial management, human resources, training, stores, accounts, purchasing and prisoner services including records and property.
* Manage the effective strategic planning and delivery of corporate and business support services including playing a critical leadership role in the delivery of outcomes associated with the Cultural Review recommendations.
* Manage a significant budget for the location ensuring that key savings initiatives and strategies are developed and implemented to ensure the budget is delivered in the most effective and efficient way. This includes undertaking strategic budget and financial analysis for the location and the provision of high-level expert advice and correspondence to the General Manager.
