The DOVE Project are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and flexible individual to lead and support a team of support workers.
I require 24/7 1:1 support as I live with Down Syndrome, early onset Dementia, and Epilepsy.
I have a small team of female support workers that enable me to go out daily in my car. I like visiting various local attractions. I require support with meal planning and cooking, personal care, daily living skills, shopping, finances, healthcare and activities.
You will have experience in supporting and leading a team to provide a person-centred approach to supporting people with their day-to-day living in order to provide a caring, safe and effective service that is responsive to the needs of the people we support.
*Being a driver is essential*

To supervise and lead a team of support workers to enable our service users to lead as fulfilling and satisfying a life as they possibly can.
To act as a role model for staff, so that they are encouraged to understand the people you are support.
To participate in the day-to-day implementation of individual support plans and activities within a challenging environment.
To work as part of a team to provide high quality care.
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is essential.
Experience in supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities and/or mental health issues.
Have a flexible approach to working hours
