Urgent Care Practitioners – Louth UTC
Merco Medical is actively seeking experienced locum Advanced Practitioners (ACPs, ECPs, ENPs, ANPs or Paramedics) to support a busy Urgent Treatment Centre in Louth. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, treating patients of all ages with a wide range of minor illnesses and injuries.
Role Overview:
You will be responsible for:
* Providing high-quality, autonomous clinical care to walk-in patients
* Managing and treating a variety of minor injuries and illnesses across all age groups
* Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team
* Conducting assessments, diagnostics, prescribing (if qualified), and making onward referrals where appropriate
Essential Requirements:
* Valid NMC or HCPC Registration
* Minor Illness and/or Minor Injury Qualification (Or extensive experience with both)
* Previous experience in Urgent or Emergency Care
* Strong clinical decision-making skills and the ability to work independently
* Confidence in managing undifferentiated presentations in a dynamic setting
Desirable:
* Independent Prescriber (V300)
Shift Patterns:
The Urgent Treatment Centre operates 24/7, offering flexible shifts including:
* Mornings
* Afternoons
* Long days
* Nights
Pay Rates (Inside IR35):
* Band 7: Up to £51.50 per hour (Umbrella)
* Band 8: Up to £56.00 per hour (Umbrella)
