Trace distributed transactions across microservices, MQ, mainframes, and APIs using PurePath.
Use DQL basics for querying metrics, building dashboards, and operational reporting.
Define and manage Management Zones for multi‑team, multi‑environment segmentation.
Design alerting strategies that reduce noise, leveraging baselines, anomaly detection, and SLO‑aligned severity tiers.
Build audience‑specific dashboards for executives, operations, and engineering teams.
Leverage Smartscape and Davis AI for topology‑aware root‑cause analysis.
Define SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets for business services and integrate them into release and incident decision‑making.
Engage with individual application teams to assess current observability maturity (logs, metrics, traces, events).
Identify observability gaps and create structured improvement roadmaps aligned to business priorities.
Drive standardization and governance across multi‑team and multi‑environment landscape.
Lead enterprise observability strategy across applications, API platforms, and important business services.
Qualifications
Minimum 6+ years of relevant work experience.
Strong stakeholder communication skills.
Understanding of external tool integrations (e.g., Moogsoft) with Dynatrace.
Preferred Dynatrace Associate Certification.
Experience defining and establishing Observability Center of Excellence (CoE) standards, including instrumentation guidelines, naming conventions, tagging and metadata standards, and dashboard and alert design principles.
