About You
Your role as a Kitchen Assistant involves preparing and serving nutritious meals, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety. You will handle food supplies, assist with equipment, and keep the environment hygienic, always prioritizing Resident wellbeing.
We seek candidates with some kitchen experience and either an NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation or a willingness to obtain one. Strong organizational skills, good record-keeping, following recipes, and considerate communication are essential. Safeguarding awareness and training are mandatory to recognize and report signs of abuse or neglect, with ongoing training provided.
