Looking for a talented and motivated EV Charging Project Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing the construction projects and ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and timelines. Your focus will be on Independent Connections Provider (ICP) processes, high voltage substations, and HV connection systems.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for EV charging infrastructure projects
• Coordinate and oversee all construction activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and compliance with regulations
• Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials
• Demonstrate proficiency in Independent Connections Provider (ICP) processes and regulations
• Liaise with ICPs to secure necessary approvals and ensure compliance with grid connection requirements
• Oversee the design and construction of high voltage substations for EV charging projects
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure the efficient integration of substations into the overall project
• Manage the installation and commissioning of high voltage (HV) connection systems for EV charging stations
• Troubleshoot and resolve HV system issues to ensure seamless operation
• Stay current with industry regulations and standards related to EV charging infrastructure
• Ensure all projects comply with relevant codes, permits, and safety guidelines
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including ICPs, engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies
• Provide regular project updates and reports to management
• Identify and assess potential risks to project timelines and budgets
• Implement mitigation strategies to address risks and ensure project success
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in project management, preferably with a focus on ICP processes, high voltage substations, and HV connection systems
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams •
