Integrated Care Clinician (Paramedic) - Cardiff
The post holder will undertake telephone triage assessments of patients in an efficient way, advising the most appropriate intervention to meet the needs of the patient using best clinical practice, adhering to Trust Policy, protocols and guidelines.
Will work in an autonomous capacity, assessing and advising callers within agreed guidelines.
Main duties of the job
* Telephone triage assessment of a broad spectrum of patients, from minor ailments and injuries to complex and urgent conditions.
* Provide remote clinical decision-making and advice to callers, ensuring appropriate patient care.
* Work collaboratively with other members of a multi-disciplinary team, including GPs, pharmacists and mental health practitioners.
* Use supporting technologies and protocols while maintaining professional standards.
* Document all assessments and interventions accurately.

Qualifications and/or Knowledge & Experience
* NMC Registered Nurse (adult or child) or HCPC Registered Paramedic with demonstrable post‑registration experience as a front‑line paramedic.
* Evidence of undertaking regular update training and continuous personal/professional development as required by the regulating body.

* Flexible approach to work – expect to work a rotating shift system including nights and weekends.

Salary: £40,559 to £48,841 a year, pro rata.
