Base pay range
£12.62 per hour (salary is range provided by Amberstone Security and will be based on skills and experience; talk with your recruiter to learn more).
Job Description
Position involves security duties for a blue-chip client, covering all security-related matters including people safety issues and site processes.
Schedule
* Shifts: 12 hour shifts, Days (06:15 – 18:15) and Nights (18:15 – 06:15)
* 7 day shifts, 3 days off, 7 night shifts, 4 off – rolling rota
* Every 3rd weekend off
* Relief work available; hours vary week to week
Requirements
* Full UK Driving Licence required
* SIA Licence required
* Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office and bespoke systems (training provided)
* Team player with the ability to work on own initiative
* Excellent interpersonal communication (written and verbal)
* Customer service oriented; capable of working under pressure
* Security experience preferred (1 year)
* Full UK driving license required for company cars
Responsibilities
* Carry out site duties in line with company policies and procedures
* Conduct internal and external site patrols including perimeter and fire doors checks
* Prevent unauthorized access to/within perimeters and buildings
* Liaise with technical team daily to report alarms/CCTV/gates issues
* Liaise with departmental heads in case of property or asset issues
* Respond to all incidents or emergencies onsite
* Site Gatehouse management duties
* Site keys and incident report management
* Ensure safety of people on site; report health and safety breaches
Operational performance
* Ensure access/egress duties comply with company policies
* Adhere to company training and processes
* Provide excellent customer service; stay courteous and professional
* Undertake refresher and developmental training as required
Data sensitivity
* Handle data in line with company policy and GDPR regulations
General
* Show flexibility; adapt to new requests outside core role as needed
* Respond to customer requests in a timely manner
