Job title: Head Housekeeper
Location: Chestnut View Care Home, Haslemere, Surrey
Overview: The Head Housekeeper leads a team of housekeeping staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene for residents. The home is a 60-bed residential, nursing, and dementia care facility.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily cleaning and maintenance of the care home, ensuring a warm and inviting environment for residents.
* Lead a housekeeping team on a rota to cover a 7-day period, including alternate weekends and bank holidays.
* Manage staffing and resources to ensure high standards of cleanliness and infection prevention control.
* Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety and care home policies.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Previous experience as a head housekeeper or care home housekeeper is required.
