Role Description
We are seeking a part-time Health & Safety Consultant for 1 day a week or 3 to 4 days per month, in Tockwith. The role involves conducting safety audits, developing health and safety strategies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing training sessions. You will support teams in implementing health and safety practices, maintain documentation, and offer expert advice on risk assessments and workplace policies. Coordination with various departments to foster a culture of safety will also be a key responsibility.
Qualifications
Thorough knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, workplace compliance, and industry standards
Experience conducting risk assessments, workplace audits, and creating safety policies
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and report writing capabilities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for training and consultation
Proficiency in using software for tracking compliance and documenting processes
A recognized Health & Safety qualification such as NEBOSH or IOSH is preferred
Proactive and analytical mindset with the ability to recommend actionable solutions
Experience in retail, manufacturing, or visual merchandising industries is an advantage
