Programme Tutor - Electrical Job description West Suffolk College, Bury St Edmunds 0. 4 FTE - 15 hours per week, 52 weeks per year - Permanent Salary: £31,206 - £34,965 per annum (Dependent on qualifications and experience) Actual Salary: £12,482 - £13,986 per annum We are seeking enthusiastic individual who is passionate about using their knowledge and skills to coach and mentor the next generation of Apprentices. This exciting opportunity to become an assessor within the Strategic Growth and Partnerships Apprenticeship Team at West Suffolk College. We are looking for an individual who is not only qualified to Level 3 or above in Electrical Installation, such as a Level 3 Electrotechnical qualification or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical, but who also has at least two years of experience within the sector. Most importantly, you¼ be a confident communicator, eager to use your skills and knowledge to coach and mentor learners through their apprenticeship journey. In this role, you will manage an agreed caseload of apprenticeship students, supporting the assessment of their Electrical Installation and Maintenance competencies. Working closely with employers, you will help develop students skills, knowledge, and behaviours through one-to-one guidance, ensuring they receive high-quality training and are well-prepared for their End Point Assessment.
