Responsibilities
* Work within a multi-disciplinary team carrying out comprehensive assessments, initiating and reviewing care plans, and developing treatment options
* Undertake medication rounds, and assess and treat patients who may have undergone traumatic experiences
* Assess patient's health needs using an evidence based framework and be able to risk assess using sound clinical knowledge
* Work with individuals providing advice, support and information and manage a case load of patients
* Monitor therapeutic responses to medication and potential side effects liaising with prescribers as required

Requirements
* NMC Registered Mental Health, or Learning Disability Nurse
* Experience of working with patients, face to face, who have complex mental health conditions
* Experience of psychosocial interventions, group work and awareness of substance misuse
* Experience of working with learning disability patients
* Evidence of Continued Professional Development; although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment
