Salary: Up to £75,000 (depending on experience) + performance bonuses

My client is an established, child-centred organisation with three Ofsted-registered children’s homes already up and running, and two more due to open as part of their continued growth. Their ethos is simple — to provide nurturing, therapeutic homes where young people can heal, grow, and thrive.
You’ll be joining a genuinely supportive team led by child-centric directors and a Responsible Individual with a strong childcare background who truly understands the realities of running a home. They believe in empowering their managers, not micromanaging them.
This brand-new dual-registered home in Leicester is a blank canvas — and they’re looking for a confident, passionate leader to make it their own.
What you’ll be doing
* Leading two small SEMH homes under one registration
* Building and inspiring a team that shares your energy, values, and humour
* Creating a safe, nurturing, and trauma-informed environment
* Driving quality, compliance, and Ofsted excellence (you know the drill!)
* Collaborating closely with an experienced, supportive senior team

What you’ll bring
* Experience as a Registered or Deputy Manager in a children’s home
* Knowledge and passion for SEMH support and trauma-informed practice
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards it)
* Strong leadership, warmth, and emotional intelligence
