An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a rapidly expanding charity based in Newcastle as a HR Business Partner on a 6 month fixed-term contract. This is a part-time role, ideal for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.
As HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting managers across the organisation, providing expert HR advice and guidance. You will be heavily involved in employee relations, with a particular focus on managing sickness absence and supporting a range of generalist HR activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide proactive HR support and guidance to managers
* Manage a high volume of employee relations cases, including complex issues
* Lead on sickness absence management, ensuring best practice and consistency
* Support organisational change and workforce planning initiatives
* Ensure HR policies and procedures are applied effectively
* Contribute to the ongoing development of HR processes
About You
1. Proven experience in a HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor role
2. Strong employee relations background, with confidence handling complex cases
3. Experience managing sickness absence cases end-to-end
4. CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience)
5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
