Maths Teacher- Full Time- Solihull, B90- January 2026 Start
An outstanding secondary school based in the heart of the borough of Solihull is working in close partnership with Teaching Personnel to appoint a maths teacher on a full time basis in January 2026.
You will need a QTS and recent experience as a maths teacher within a UK based secondary school, to be considered for this position.
Ideal applicant:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
PGCE/Successful teacher training programme
Bachelors degree in mathematics
Excellent classroom presence and confident with managing classroom behaviour
Previous experience teaching children with special educational needs is advantageous
Recent experience and a proven track record teaching Maths in a UK based secondary school
Fantastic understanding of the broad range of mathematical concepts and how to scaffold learning for pupils
Job Requirements:
Plan and deliver engaging maths lessons that support the learning and development of all learners within the class
Differentiate lessons to suit the learning styles and individual needs of pupils
Regularly assess pupils' progress and development, offering them insightful feedback
Communicate effectively with pupils, staff and parents alike
Collaborate with colleagues within the department to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
Maintain a committed stance to safeguarding and ensure you follow schools policies and procedures at all times
