The team at Maids Moreton Hall Care Home have a great opportunity for a passionate and hands-on nurse to join the home as clinical deputy manager. This role provides leadership for the nursing and care teams and supports the development and delivery of consistently high quality clinical and care services for residents with complex health and social care needs.
This role requires compliance with the clinical governance framework and related activities, including participation in the clinical audit programme. It also involves providing leadership and support for clinical and care colleagues and acting as a champion for residents\' safety and dignity. You will maintain up-to-date skills and knowledge to ensure care is delivered according to latest guidelines and best practice evidence, develop monitoring and reporting systems to promote safe and high-quality services, maintain clear and accurate records and communication systems, and act as a role model for good clinical and care governance practice.
Responsibilities
* Provide leadership for the nursing and care teams and support the development and delivery of high-quality clinical and care services for residents with complex needs.
* Comply with the clinical governance framework and participate in the clinical audit programme.
* Develop monitoring and reporting systems that promote safety, effectiveness and quality of services.
* Ensure clear and accurate records and communication systems relating to clinical and care delivery are maintained and used by colleagues.
* Act as a role model for good clinical and care governance practice and champion residents\' safety and dignity.
Who you are
* An NMC Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN); well-versed in care planning processes and familiar with clinical assessment tools.
* Keen to develop leadership skills and clinical knowledge; able to build close relationships with residents and their families; driven to drive continuous improvement.
