Richard Irvin an RSK Group company are recruiting for a Plumber to join the team based in Glasgow, Scotland. This is a full-time, permanent position. Our team of engineers, operations staff, project managers and compliance specialists are trained to start with our clients’ individual needs and work outwards from there. Responsibilities: * Conduct Heating, & Plumbing Services, PPM tasks, installations, and reactive repairs. * Provide remedial fault diagnosis within existing installations. * Liaise with clients / main contractors regarding progress, PPM requirements. * Make sure that works are progressed in line with current company and client procedures regarding Health and Safety and comply with current relevant building codes, legislation, regulations, policies and procedures for installation and maintenance. * Represent the company at a site level and promote the company abilities. * Completion of all required legal documentation using the site paperwork. * Ensure all necessary administration work is completed and returned to the appropriate administrative centre in accordance with establishment procedures. * Maintain a cooperative working relationship with employees and management. * Ability to read, interpret and follow method statements and procedures, specifications, drawings, and all other discipline related project and engineering documentation. * Ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with the requirements of Health and Safety and any other relevant legislation and the contract services Code of Practice. * Take instructions from heads of departments regarding work requests, access and provision of temporary material storage areas. * To give assistance and support to team members and others in performance of duties and responsibilities. * Participate in the on-call rota. * In addition to your normal duties, you may occasionally be required to undertake additional work necessary to meet the needs of the business, without additional remuneration. Qualifications and Experience: * SCQF Lvl 5/6/7 or Equivalent NVQ 2/3/4/5 or City & Guilds craft, BPEC or Skillseekers * Ideally have experience within a building service in setting * Experience of Safe Systems of Hot & Cold Water and Sanitation * Experience of AHU PPM Routines * Experience of Unvented, Water Regs, Legionella awareness, Zip Tap, TPMV. Manufacturer training Elec Safe Isolation * Awareness of Health & Safety Regulations. * Full clean and current driving licence. * Ability to work under pressure. * A good understanding of ACOP L8 & requirements * IT Literate * Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels within the organisation. * Experienced in dealing with clients/consumers. * Analytical and problem-solving skills * Good time management skills, and able to manage changing priorities. * Ability to work within a team and on own initiative and consult with clients and other contractors. * Able to supervise and take the lead on jobs. * Hard working, punctual, collaborator and trustworthy * Ability to work safely and methodically with minimum supervision * Desirable Live Commercial Gas ACS Inc COCN1.
