Are you a dedicated and qualified Nursery Practitioner looking to make a real difference in early years education?
GSL Education are seeking a passionate Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join supportive early years settings in Eastbourne from September 2025. This full-time role is ideal for someone committed to nurturing young children’s development in a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
In this role, you will work closely with early years educators to support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. You’ll help create engaging activities that foster curiosity, independence, and confidence.
As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the delivery of the EYFS curriculum through planned activities
* Assisting in observing, assessing, and recording children’s progress
* Promoting positive behaviour and social skills
* Providing a safe and welcoming environment that meets children’s individual needs
* Building strong relationships with children, parents, and the wider team
* Helping maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating nursery environment
Level 3 Nursery Practitioner Requirements:
* Level 3 Early Years Practitioner qualification or equivalent
* Experience working with children aged 0-5 in a nursery or early years setting
* Good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting young children
* Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
