New Opportunity - Key Account Manager
Our client is seeking a Key Account Manager to support continued expansion in the transitional and decarbonised energy sectors. The role focuses on developing new sales opportunities and driving sustainable growth across industries including Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Carbon Capture, Hydrogen Generation and Storage, Waste-to-X, Power Grid, and Renewable Heating. Proven experience in selling equipment within one or more of these sectors is essential.
In this role you will be responsible for managing sales and customer relationships within key energy sectors, supporting engineering and marketing efforts, contributing to product development and business strategy, and ensuring on-time delivery and customer satisfaction through strong internal and external collaboration.
As the new Key Account Manager, you will:
1. Achieve order intake targets
2. Contribute to business plans ensuring sustainable, profitable growth
3. Gather and present customer forecasts to senior management/board
4. Attend customer meetings in the UK and overseas
5. Review and interpret customer specifications, drawings, and standards
6. Understand customer needs and propose suitable alternatives
