LONDON - hybrid
£40 - £45K
Our client is a global outdoor lifestyle retail brand seeking an experienced RETAIL ACTIVATION MARKETING MANAGER to join their marketing team. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience in retail marketing, particularly for outdoor lifestyle or sportswear brands, with a focus on delivering a superior retail consumer journey. A deep understanding of in-store needs and cultural awareness that can be leveraged as a brand-building tool are essential.
The Role
Retail marketing is a key growth area for this brand. The successful candidate will develop and execute retail marketing strategies that increase brand visibility and engagement across key retail partners in both the lifestyle and outdoor channels. This role involves storytelling, highlighting the brand’s history, products, purpose, and outdoor adventure stories through retail initiatives.
The candidate will lead retail marketing efforts within the brand marketing team and collaborate with cross-functional teams to activate strategies in-market. Close coordination with commercial teams and regional offices will be necessary to support retail sell-ins and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end campaign development and execution to influence consumer behavior as per retail strategy.
* Manage relationships with retail partners to ensure optimal brand presence and create go-to-market plans that boost visibility and sales.
* Serve as the retail marketing expert, managing creative agencies and internal teams to produce compelling retail creative content.
* Oversee retail projects from conception to delivery, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
* Contribute to the overall brand evolution by collaborating across departments on retail strategy, creative development, media planning, and product launches.
