Home Instead is proud to provide outstanding, relationship-led care to older adults in their own homes. We are currently recruiting Bank Live-In Care Assistants based in Edinburgh and surrounding areas to support our elderly clients with dignity, respect, and compassion.
What the Role Involves
* Providing personalised, live-in care to older adults in their own homes
* Supporting with personal care, including washing, dressing, and mobility
* Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with hydration
* Medication prompting (where trained)
* Providing companionship and emotional support
* Helping clients maintain independence and routines
* Keeping clear and accurate daily care records
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in elderly care (live-in experience desirable but not essential)
* A kind, patient, and compassionate nature
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently within a client’s home
* Right to work in the UK
* PVG membership (or willingness to obtain one)
* Must live in or near Edinburgh
