An exciting opportunity has arisen for a friendly and enthusiastic Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at White Cliffs Vets, situated in the lovely village of Whitfield, just outside Dover in Kent. Our location offers easy access to mainland Europe, high-speed rail links to London, and is only twenty minutes from the historic city of Canterbury.
This is a busy and demanding role where you will be required to welcome clients and their pets, handle enquiries both on the phone and face-to-face, process payments, use and update our electronic diary system, manage medication, and perform various administrative tasks.
More about you
The successful candidate will ideally have experience in the veterinary profession or a similar customer service role. They should have a passion for animals, excellent customer service skills, computer literacy, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Your shift pattern
This full-time position involves an average of 40 hours per week, working five 8-hour shifts, including one Saturday morning shift (8:30 am - 12:30 pm). Flexibility for holiday and sickness cover is also required.
