About the Role
As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the daily activities and care of children aged 0-5. Your responsibilities will include helping to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can thrive. You will assist in planning and delivering engaging educational activities, supporting childrens social and emotional development, and ensuring their health and safety at all times.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist in the day-to-day care and supervision of children.
Support the planning and delivery of creative and educational activities.
Work closely with the team to maintain a clean, safe, and positive environment.
Help monitor and record childrens development and progress.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and carers.
Ensure all health and safety and safeguarding procedures are followed.
Requirements :
Previous experience in a similar nursery or early years setting (desirable).
A passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Relevant childcare qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Early Years Education or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
An understanding of safeguarding and early years frameworks (EYFS).
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude.
