Early Years Teaching Assistant (2-Year-Old Provision) Location: Thornton, L23, Liverpool Start Date: Likely late May Role Type: Temporary / Ongoing (subject to confirmation) A Catholic Primary School is seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to support their 2‑year‑old provision, starting later in May. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with strong EYFS experience, particularly within nursery or 2‑year‑old settings, who enjoys providing nurturing, child‑centred support during early development. The Role: Supporting children within a 2‑year‑old Early Years setting Assisting with personal care routines, including toileting and hygiene Supporting learning through play‑based, EYFS‑led activities Working closely with the Nursery Manager and EYFS team Promoting children’s emotional, social, and developmental progress Ensuring all safeguarding and welfare standards are upheld The Ideal Candidate Will: Have previous experience in Early Years, preferably with 2‑year‑olds Be confident supporting personal care needs Have a calm, caring, and patient approach Understand the EYFS framework Be reliable, proactive, and professional Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service Why Apply?
