Offer description

Tired of feeling rushed, unsupported, or just like a number?

Join a care company that gives you time to care, a rota you can rely on, and a team that truly backs you.

Please note: We are currently unable to offer visa sponsorship and therefore cannot accept applications from candidates who require a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).

What You'll Get When Joining the Team

By joining the team, you get more than just a job, you get:

* A friendly, down-to-earth team who support each other (no egos here)
* Fixed, rolling rota – so you can actually plan your life
* £12.82 per hour, plus enhancements (we are transparent about our pay rates, we do not indicate a range)
* Guaranteed hours
* Paid travel time and mileage – because your time matters
* Full training and shadowing – we set you up for success
* Regular huddles, team meetings, and coffee & cake catch-ups
* Real career progression and qualifications in line with the new Care Workforce Pathway
* 1:1 support, an open-door policy, and help when you need it – always
* A supportive, inclusive workplace where you're more than just a number
* On-call support from a dedicated out-of-hours team – we've got your back
* An open door policy – our team is here to support you, listen to you, and help you grow

This isn't care on a conveyor belt. We give you the tools, time, and support to do the job properly, and make a real difference to the people you visit.

Are you ready to make a real difference to the people in your community?

Meet Beryl

Beryl is in her 80s and lives alone in a house filled with teacups, stories, and kindness. She thrives on routine, loves a good crossword, and enjoys her garden – especially when someone takes the time to ask about it. You might visit to help her get ready in the morning, prepare a simple meal, and spend a few minutes chatting over a proper cup of tea.

Meet Robert (and Reginald)

Robert, a retired postman, is adjusting to life after cancer and the loss of his wife. His loyal Jack Russell, Reginald, keeps him company, but he needs a bit more support these days. You might help with medication, warm up a meal, check in on how he's feeling – and make sure Reginald gets his daily trot around the garden.

You won't be based in a care home or supporting one person – you'll visit multiple people throughout your day, providing essential care, practical help, and much-needed companionship to individuals like Maude and Robert.

What You'll Do - Every Visit Counts

You'll provide personalised, in-home support to several clients across your shift. Your day might include:

* Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
* Medication assistance
* Meal prep and hydration
* Light housekeeping, errands, and laundry
* Mobility support and safe movement
* Attending appointments or short walks
* Companionship and emotional reassurance
* You will work with multiple people each day, visiting them in their own home

What We're Looking For

* A kind, empathetic, and dependable person
* No previous experience required – just the right attitude and willingness to learn
* Eligible to work in the UK (without need for sponsorship)
* A full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle (essential)
* Availability to work alternate weekends
* A genuine interest in supporting people to live independently
* Strong communication skills and the confidence to work alone in the community
* A team player who values openness, reliability, and compassionate care

Working Hours & Shift Pattern

We use a fixed two-week rolling rota to ensure consistency for our clients and work-life balance for our team:

* Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
* Week 2: Monday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
* Full-Time (Long Days): 07:00 – 22:00 (with breaks), 40 hrs/week

Why Join the Team?

Because care isn't just a task – it's a connection.

Because Maude's smile at 9am is just as important as helping her get dressed.

Because Robert's trust in you makes all the difference to his day.

Because the work you do will matter, every single shift.

Apply now and start a meaningful role where people don't just need you, they're genuinely glad to see you.
