The Best Connection are currently recruiting experienced and professional Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers for general haulage work with curtain side trailers. Join a reputable transport company based in Scunthorpe offering flexible shifts and consistent work.
?? Key Responsibilities
* Operate Class 1 vehicles for general haulage (curtain side trailers)
* Complete UK-wide deliveries and collections
* Securely load/unload goods with attention to safety
* Accurately complete paperwork and logbooks
* Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects
? Requirements
* Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
* Minimum 2 years' Class 1 driving experience
* No more than 6 penalty points (No DR, DD, or IN convictions)
* Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
* Experience with curtain side trailers preferred
* Strong communication & time management skills
* Safety-first mindset and professional attitude
